Visual Story: The type of ethical advertising technique that I decided to use was "Visual Story." A visual story is basically using a visual to tell a story. The visual could be a drawing or a photograph.It can be a visualization of a product benefit, or a problem the service can solve, or an important product feature. It can also be a before and after picture.
I chose the Latisse ad because it shows a before and after picture- a picture before person uses Latisse, and one after person has been using for a while.
Personification: Another type of ethical addvertising technique is "personification." Personification is giving human-like characteristics to non-human things or organisms. I chose to use the Cinnamon Toast Cruch ad because it utilizes personfication. In the ad, a piece of the cereal is shown with human facial features.
